Q. Servilius Caepio (M. Junius) Brutus. 54 BC. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.93 g, 6h). Rome mint. Head of Libertas right, wearing cruciform earring and pendant necklace; LIBERTAS downward to left / The consul L. Junius Brutus walking left between two lictors, each carrying ax over shoulder, and preceded by an accensus; BRUTUS in exergue. Crawford 433/1; Sydenham 906a; Junia 31a; BMCRR Rome 3862-3; RBW 1542. Beautiful iridescent toning, a few light scratches, struck slightly off center. Good VF.
