Moneyer issues of Imperatorial Rome. Marcus Arrius Secundus. 43 BC. AR Denarius (19.5mm, 3.52 g, 6h). Rome mint. Young, bare, male head (Octavian or Quintus Arrius?) right, wearing slight beard; M • ARRIVS upward to left, SECVNDVS downward to right / Hasta pura (vertical spear) between wreath on left and rectangular phalera (military decoration) on right. Crawford 513/2; CRI 319; Sydenham 1084; Arria 2; BMCRR Rome 4210; RBW 1791. Lightly toned, scattered porosity, some scratches on reverse, small edge chip. VF. Rare.
