LUCANIA, Herakleia. Circa 330/25-281 BC. AR Nomos (21mm, 7.77 g, 6h). Head of Athena right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet decorated with Skylla hurling a stone; K behind / Herakles standing facing, holding club, bow, and arrow, with lion’s skin draped over left arm; aryballos and AΘA to left. Van Keuren 85; HN Italy 1384. Beautiful iridescent tone. Good VF.
