LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 400-340 BC. AR Nomos (19.5mm, 7.74 g, 5h). Obverse die signed by the engraver Aristoxenos. Wreathed head of Demeter right; barley grain to left, A[PI] on neck truncation / Grain ear with leaf to left. Noe 440 (same dies); HN Italy 1522; SNG Lloyd 347 (same dies). Toned, a little off center on obverse. Good VF.
