BRUTTIUM, Kroton. Alliance issue with Temesa. Circa 430-420 BC. AR Nomos (17.5mm, 7.57 g, 2h). Tripod, legs terminating in lion's feet / Corinthian helmet right. Montesanti Group III, XI-3; HN Italy 2122. Light iridescent tone, slight porosity on obverse, cleaning marks/smoothing on reverse. VF. Very rare.
