SICILY, Kamarina. Circa 420-405 BC. Æ Tetras (14mm, 2h). Gorgoneion / Owl standing left, head facing, holding lizard in talon; three pellets (mark of value) in exergue. Westermark & Jenkins Period III, Type F, 195, dies B/a; CNS 21; HGC 2, 547; BMC 38 (same dies); Weber 1255 (same dies). Dark brown patina. In NGC encapsulation 5872733-048, graded Ch VF.
