CALABRIA, Tarentum. Punic occupation. Circa 212-209 BC. AR Half Shekel (19mm, 3.95 g, 1h). Nude youth, holding filleted palm frond and crowning horse he rides right; KRITO-Σ below / Phalanthos, holding Nike and trident, on dolphin left; monograms flanking. Vlasto 978 (same dies); HN Italy 1080. Underlying luster, small area of flat strike on reverse. Near EF.
