MACEDON, Akanthos. Circa 470-430 BC. AR Tetrobol (13.5mm, 2.59 g). Forepart of lion right, head turned as if biting prey; shell above / Quadripartite incuse square. AMNG III/2, 11; HGC 3, 386; SNG ANS 22. Toned, a little porosity, a couple of marks on reverse. Good VF.
