Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Skylla holding trident / Bull butting right; ΣΩΓ above; in exergue, fish right. HN Italy 1820; cf. Dewing 444. Deep iridescent tone, struck with worn dies, a few old scratches under tone, minor die shift on reverse. VF. Rare variety.
