PAPHLAGONIA, Sinope. Circa 410-350/30 BC. AR Drach (18mm, 6.09 g, 6h). Aeginetic standard. Philo–, magistrate. Head of nymph left, hair in sakkos / Sea-eagle standing left, wings spread, on dolphin left; ΦIΛO below eagle’s wings. E.S.G. Robinsion, “Sinope” in NC 1930, 2A (this coin); RG 20 var. (unlisted magistrate); HGC 7, 390; SNG BM –; SNG BN –. Beautiful cabinet tone, minor metal flaws on obverse. EF.
