ISLANDS off CARIA, Rhodos. Rhodes. Early-mid 1st century AD. Æ Drachm (36mm, 23.96 g, 1h). Antigonos, magistrate. Struck circa AD 60. Radiate head of Dionysus left wearing ivy wreath / Nike advancing right, holding wreath and palm frond; EΠI ANTIΓONOY across fields. RPC I 2756; BMC 364. Dark green patina with red earthen deposits, areas of flat strike. VF. Very rare, only six known to RPC.
