PLANTAGENET. Henry II. 1154-1189. AR Penny (20mm, 1.37 g, 3h). Short cross coinage, class Ib1. London mint; Aimer, moneyer. Struck 1180-circa 1182. Crowned facing bust, holding scepter / + AIMЄR · ON · LVND, voided short cross; quatrefoils in angles. SCBI 56 (Mass), 245; North 963; SCBC 1344. Light scratch on obverse under glossy find patina. Good VF.
