CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 272-240 BC. AR Nomos (19.5mm, 6.28 g, 4h). Reduced standard. Nude youth crowning horse he rides left; ΣY to right, ΛYKI/NOΣ below / Phalanthos, nude, preparing to throw trident left, riding dolphin left; to right, owl standing left, head facing. Vlasto 836–41; HN Italy 1025. Toned, some die wear, die shift on obverse, minor roughness. Good VF.
