EASTERN EUROPE, Imitations of Alexander III of Macedon. Early 3rd century BC. AR Tetradrachm (28.5mm, 17.23 g, 5h). Mint in the lower Danube region. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; tripod in left field. OTA –; Flesche 727 (this coin); Lanz –; CCCBM I –; KMW –. Lightly toned, minor marks, slight die shift on obverse. EF.
