CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 380-375/0 BC. AR Nomos (21.5mm, 7.89 g, 5h). Nude youth, holding shield, dismounting from horse rearing left; Π below / Phalanthos, nude, holding ball of wool, riding dolphin left; A below. Fischer-Bossert Group 33, 494j (V210/R373) = Sartiges 15 (this coin, illustrated); Vlasto 428 (same dies); HN Italy 876. Old cabinet tone, slightly off center, minor flan flaw on obverse, a couple die breaks on reverse. Good VF.
