LESBOS, Mytilene. Circa 521-478 BC. EL Hekte – Sixth Stater (10.5mm, 2.59 g, 4h). Forepart of bull left / Incuse head of lion left; rectangular punch to right. Bodenstedt Em. 4; HGC 6, 926; SNG von Aulock 1683; SNG Berry 1004; Hermitage Sale II 1217. Toned, edge splits, light deposits on reverse. Near EF. Fine style.
