IONIA, Ephesos. Phanes. Circa 625-600 BC. EL Hekte – Sixth Stater (9.5mm, 2.23 g). Forepart of stag right, head reverted, its dappled coat indicated by indentations on the body / Incuse square with raised intersecting lines within. Cf. Weidauer 36–7 (twelfth stater); Linzalone LN1103; Adams I 78. VF.
