ANTONINVS AVG PI VS P P TR P COS III, laureate bust right, wearing aegis / VICTORIΛ/ AVG in two lines in exergue, Victory, winged, draped, standing in quadriga galloping right, holding whip in right hand and reins in left. RIC III 101 var. (bust type); Strack 102 var. (same); Calicó 1693 var. (same); BMCRE 254 var. (same), pl. 6, 15 (same rev. die); Biaggi 778; Jameson –; Mazzini 1079 var. (bust type; same rev. die). A few minor marks. Near EF. Extremely rare with aegis.
