Laureate head right / NIKH KATA ΓEPMANΩN, Nike standing right, inscribing shield with her right hand, which is held with her left; at her feet, captive seated right, with right hand raised; L ς (date) to lower right. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 439 corr.; K&G 24.55; RPC II 2521; Emmett 244.6 (R4 = Dattari 439). Toned with patches of red encrustation. Near VF. Extremely rare.

This extremely rare Domitian tetradrachm declares “Victory against the Germans” with its reverse inscription and type.
