Description
SICILY, Selinos. Circa 410 BC. AR Litra (12.5mm, 0.81 g, 3h). Nymph seated left on rock, touching serpent to left and raising arm overhead; selinon leaf above / Man-headed bull standing right; fish in exergue; c/m: head of female right, wearing sphendone, within incuse square. HGC 2, 1229; SNG ANS 711–2. Toned, slightly off center, some roughness on obverse. VF. Rare with countermark.
