KINGS of MACEDON. temp. Philip III – Lysimachos. Circa 323-280 BC. AR Drachm (16mm, 4.08 g, 9h). In the name and types of Alexander III. Uncertain mint in western Asia Minor. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; M in left field, Π below throne. Unpublished. Toned, granular surfaces. VF. Extremely rare.

The configuration of these controls generally matches that found on a series at Kolophon, Price 1805A–1817, but the style of the obverse dies used for that series is quite distinct, and is significantly different from that found on the present coin.
