Abi Ziyad / — / — / Reverse: additional circle outside stars-and-crescents in margin. Malek, Arab-Sasanian p. 149 = Gaube 46 = Walker p. 109, Th.13 (same dies). Cleaned, reverse weak. VF. Excessively rare.
The Pahlawi legend in the obverse margin names a certain Zayd b. Abi Ziyad. This individual, otherwise apparently unknown, is presumed to have been a sub-governor.
