Great Mongols. Chingiz (Genghis). AH 602-624 / AD 1206-1227. BI Broad Dirham (28.9mm, 2.76 g, 2h). Marw mint. Dated AH [61]8 (AD 1221/2). Obverse: Kalima in three lines within square, names of the rashidun in outer segments / Reverse: bi-farman / al-khaqan al-a‘zam / Chingiz Qaan / al-‘adil. Album A1968; cf. Stephen Album Rare Coins 20 (18 September 2014), lot 601. Some flat striking (as normal for this crudely struck issue). Near VF. Extremely rare.
