Andronicus II Palaeologus, with Michael IX. 1282-1328. AV Hyperpyron (22.5mm, 3.56 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck 1303-1320. Half-length facing figure of the Theotokos, orans, within city walls with four towers; sigla: */K | */N / Christ standing facing, crowning Andronicus and Michael, kneeling to left and right respectively. DOC 267-355; PCPC 128 (sigla 186); SB 2396. Graffito on reverse, minor flan crack, some weakness. VF.
