REPRODUCTIONS, BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 425-350 BC. Cast “AR Nomos” (22mm, 7.70 g, 1h). Derived from a British Museum electrotype. Youthful Herakles seated left on rock draped with lion skin, holding filleted branch and club, bow and bowcase behind; lighted altar to left; pair of fish in exergue / Tripod; barley grain to left; E in exergue. Head, Guide –; cf. GPCG pl. 14, 18 (for prototype). Toned. As made.
