KINGS of PAEONIA. Patraos. Circa 335-315 BC. AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 12.70 g, 3h). Astibos or Damastion mint. Laureate head of Apollo right / Warrior on horse rearing right, thrusting spear at enemy lying below who defends with shield; grape bunch behind arm of warrior. Paeonian Hoard 116–23 (same dies); Peykov E2100 (same dies as illustration); HGC 3, 148 corr. (some with symbols). Lightly toned, struck with worn obverse die, a little off center on reverse, test cut on edge. Near VF.
