CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 315-302 BC. AR Nomos (20mm, 7.83 g, 5h). Nude warrior, holding two spears and preparing to throw a third, shield on left arm, on horseback right; monogram to right, API below / Phalanthos, holding kantharos and oar, riding dolphin left; A above arm. Fischer-Bossert Group 74a, 899 (V351/R700); Vlasto 642; HN Italy 939. Lightly toned, scratch on obverse, graffito on reverse. VF.
