KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III ‘the Great’. 336-323 BC. AR Drachm (15mm, 4.30 g, 11h). Magnesia ad Maeandrum mint. Struck under Menander, circa 325-323 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; K below throne, spearhead in outer right field. Price 1933 corr. (position of spearhead). Toned. EF. Well struck.

In his article on corrections to Price, C. Hersh notes that Price 1933 should read that the spearhead is in the outer right field (), rather than simply ‘right field’ () as Price notes. The illustration in Price confirms this reading.
