EASTERN EUROPE, Imitations of Alexander III of Macedon. Late 4th-early 3rd centuries BC. AR Tetradrachm (24.5mm, 15.73 g, 11h). Imitating an issue of Babylon, struck circa 317-311 BC. Mint in the lower Danube region. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion’s skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, monogram within wreath, uncertain letter or monogram beneath throne.
