LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 540-510 BC. AR Nomos (30.5mm, 7.57 g, 12h). Ear of barley with eight grains / Incuse ear of barley with seven grains. Noe Class IV, 94 var. (number of grains); HN Italy 1470. Toned, some find patina, double struck on reverse. Good VF.
