Struck in the name of Alexander III of Macedon. Mint in the lower Danube region. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion’s skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, monogram within wreath, X or star beneath throne. For prototype, cf. SC 82; cf. Price 3714. Toned, rough obverse, area of flat strike on reverse. VF.
