LUCANIA, Herakleia. Circa 330/25-281 BC. AR Nomos (20mm, 7.81 g, 16h). Head of Athena right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet decorated with Skylla hurling a stone / Herakles standing facing, holding club, bow, and arrow, with lion’s skin draped over left arm; aryballos and AΘA to left. Van Keuren 84; HN Italy 1384. Lightly toned, compact flan, die wear on obverse, faint graffito in field on reverse. Good VF.
