GAUL, Lugdunum. Octavian, with Divus Julius Caesar. Circa 36 BC. Æ Dupondius (31mm, 18.75 g, 3h). Laureate head of Divus Julius on left and bare head of Octavian on right, back to back; palm frond between / Prow right decorated with eye and dolphin; meta and a star superimposed on globe above. RPC I 515; Lyon 7; SNG Copenhagen 689-90. Brown surfaces, porosity, flan cracks. Near VF.
