Bronze Seal. Baktrian. 2400 - 2100 BC. (35 mm.) An open work, round seal with a loop for suspension. On the face, a close worked shape of a longer neck and wavy “head” tapering to the left. This is held to the outer border with 4 oddly placed spokes to create 5 unequal divisions. All within a closed double border. Sarianidi -. Possibly a stylized dog head? a foot and ankle? Condition is outstanding, very clean piece with no loss.
