Post-Colonial Issue. 1783 Washington Unity States Cent. W-10130. VF. . Some thin scratches. Striated planchet on reverse, attesting to its authenticity.
Ex Dr. Jay M. Galst Collection (Classical Numismatic Group Electronic Auction 492, 26 May 2021), lot 651 (hammer $500).
The striations were most likely caused by the drawing bench which was used to thin the strip being incorrectly set.
