SICILY, Syracuse. Second Democracy. 466-405 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26.5mm, 17.08 g, 9h). Struck circa 466-460 BC. Charioteer driving quadriga right; above, Nike flying right, crowning horses; in exergue, ketos right / Diademed head of Arethousa right; four dolphins around. Boehringer Series XIVa, 479 (V255/R344); HGC 2, 1311. Faint iridescent tone, slightly off center, minor marks, area of weak strike on obverse. Good VF.
