LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 425-350 BC. Æ (16mm, 3.56 g, 12h). Head of nymph facing slightly left, with flowing hair / Barley ear; locust to left. Cf. Johnston, Bronze 19 (Demeter on obv., different rev. symbol, ); cf. HN Italy 1654 (same); SNG Morcom –; Garrucci pl. CV, 13; Leu 83, lot 18. Green patina. VF. Very rare, two in CoinArchives.
