Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Two soldiers standing facing each other, both holding reversed spear and resting hand on shield set on ground set on ground between them; two signa between them; SCONST. RIC VII 342 var. (bust type); LRBC –. Dark brown patina, slight rub at high points, minor pitting. EF. Extremely rare. Two others known, both in very low grade. This example the finest known of this extremely rare variety of an already rare issue (RIC VII 342 is R5 in RIC).
