EASTERN EUROPE, Imitations of Macedonian 1st Meris. 2nd-1st centuries BC. AR Tetradrachm (33mm, 15.64 g, 3h). Mint in the lower Danube region. Diademed and draped bust of Artemis right, quiver at shoulder, in center of Macedonian shield / Club; NK monogram above, HP monogram below; all within oak wreath; thunderbolt to left. Prokopov, Silver 747-8 var. (NAK monogram; same obv. die); Lanz cf. 1007-9 (monograms); cf. OTA E, 1 (NAK monogram); CCCBM I –. Toned, bent flan, minor porosity, scratches and scrapes. Good VF.
