IONIA, Uncertain. Circa 600-550 BC. EL Forty-eighth Stater (5mm, 0.27 g). Aeginetic standard. Lion paw seen from above / Incuse square. Cf. Rosen 357 (ninety-sixth). Traces of find patina. As made.
There is an issue of myshemihektai at Miletos with the same types as here, but the style is much more refined, and their incuses are not plain squares. The paw here is most similar to Rosen 357, though the reverse of his coin is not a plain square, either.
