EGYPT, Oxyrhynchus. 2nd-3rd centuries AD. PB Tessera (21mm, 6.96 g, 1h). Helmeted bust of Minerva right / Victory advancing left, holding palm frond and wreath. Cf. Milne 5282-9; cf. Dattari (Savio) 11817-8; Köln 3508 corr. (no legend on reverse; same rev. die). Brown gray surfaces with some dustiness. VF. Rare variety. This well-preserved reverse is lacking the OΞ legend usually found on this type.
