Trajan Decius. AD 249-251. AR Antoninianus (21.5mm, 4.44 g, 6h). Rome mint, 3rd officina. 3rd-4th emissions, AD 250. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / The two Pannoniae standing left, each raising a hand and holding a signum; the one on the right looking left. RIC IV 25; RSC 89c; H. Mattingly, “The Great Dorchester Hoard of 1936” in NC XIX (1939 Part 1), p. 26 (last variety of Cohen 86 noted) = BM 1937,0509.511. Toned. Near EF. Extremely rare. Only the BM coin noted for this type in the references with the Pannoniae each holding the signum in their left hands and both raising their right hands. R2 in RIC.

A careful search of CoinArchives resulted in only one other specimen being identified bringing the total count of this rare type to three. The corpus of which is as follows:
