KINGS of THRACE, Macedonian. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 16.45 g, 7h). Alexandria Troas mint. Struck 297/6-282/1 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; monogram to outer left, star on throne. Meadows, Earliest 4, dies O2/R3; Thompson 150; Müller –; HGC 3, 1750h; Boston MFA 825 (same dies). Toned, underlying luster, porous, delamination on obverse. Good VF. Rare.
