LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 540-510 BC. AR Nomos (29mm, 7.75 g, 12h). Ear of barley with seven grains and bracts at base; MET down left field / Incuse ear of barley with seven grains. Noe Class II, 44 (same dies); HN Italy 1470. Toned, minor porosity, die wear on obverse. Fine.
