LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 470-440 BC. AR Nomos (20mm, 8.09 g, 6h). Ear of barley with five grains; head of ram to left, retrograde MET up right field / Incuse ear of barley with five grains. Noe Class X, 220 (same obv. die); HN Italy 1485. Lightly toned, some die wear on obverse, die break on reverse. Good VF.
